The work
Read the visit timeline
See when a visit was scheduled, completed, invoiced, updated, and paid.
Open a visit and tap History for a dated summary, with the newest activity first. Both you and the client can use it to review the current visit, invoice, and payment record.
Visit History is generated from the visit's current data. It is not a complete audit log of every status or note change.
What appears in the timeline
- Created — the visit was first scheduled.
- Status Changed — Olyve shows the visit's current saved status with its latest update time. It does not list every earlier status transition.
- Completed — the work was marked complete.
- Invoice Created — an invoice was issued, with its number and amount.
- Payment Received — a payment was recorded, with its amount and method.
- Notes Updated — Olyve may add this when the visit has notes and was updated after creation. Because it uses the visit's general update time, it does not prove that notes were the most recent change.
The Created event is always there, even when nothing else has happened. A completed visit may show both Status Changed and Completed because one reflects the current saved status and the other records the completion time. Invoiced and Paid are display states, so the Status Changed entry may still say Completed.
If a payment has a note—for example, a check number—that note appears in its timeline entry. Notes Updated does not repeat the visit note itself.
Visit history and invoice history
The visit timeline tells the story of the work. The invoice's History tab tells the story of the bill, including payments applied to it. Use the visit when you are answering a service question and the invoice when you are answering a balance question.
